In Q3 2023, the top 5 travel and local apps in Ireland displayed diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Ryanair maintained a consistent weekly revenue of around $1 throughout the quarter. The app's weekly downloads experienced a gradual decline from 9.7K in late June to a low of 6K in late August, before recovering slightly to 7.2K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed more stability, peaking at approximately 31.8K in mid-August and ending the quarter at around 28.2K.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw its weekly downloads fluctuate between 4.8K and 6.2K, with a noticeable dip in late August. Active users for the app declined from 225K in late June to just under 198K by the end of September.

FREENOW - Taxi and more experienced a varied download pattern, starting at 7.2K in late June, dipping to 4.2K in late August, and then rising again to 7.5K by mid-September. Its active users saw a slight increase over the quarter, from 23.8K in late June to 21.9K by the end of September.

Aer Lingus App had a more stable download trend, fluctuating around the 4.3K to 5.3K range. Active users for this app showed a slight decline from 10.8K in late June to 9.2K by the end of September.

Finally, loveholidays: hotels & flights observed a peak in downloads at 5.3K in mid-July, followed by a general decline, ending the quarter at around 3K. Active users, however, showed a more positive trend, increasing from 8.6K in late June to 11.3K by the end of September.
